![[Dharma JPG.jpg|300]] "_Coming empty-handed, going empty-handed – that is human. When you are born, where do you come from? When you die, where do you go? Life is like a floating cloud which appears. Death is like a floating cloud which disappears. The floating cloud itself originally does not exist. Life and death, coming and going, are also like that. But there is one thing which always remains clear. It is pure and clear, not depending on life and death._ _Then what is the one pure and clear thing?_" \- The Human Route, an ancient Zen Buddhist koan --- # Introduction The Dharma class is an operator class designed around [[Meditation Practices]]. A master of self-control and well-being, they have lived a life of control and discipline over their body, whether through deliberate practice, or the necessity of a hard life. Through their focus on their health in both body and mind, they are in tune with meditation and the spiritual world. While the stereotypical Dharma is usually a religious or secular monk, Dharmas can come from varied walks of life. They have achieved enlightenment either through purposeful, directed practice or instinctual direction. The Dharma has three primary aspects: Mind, Body, and Soul. Mind deals with mental health and sensory powers, Body deals with physical prowess, and Soul deals with willpower, one's being, and emotional resilience. ## High-Risk, High Reward Dharmas invest in systems with high power, but stringent requirements. Meditation Practices have additional conditions that are always threatening to limit or eliminate their options, which already require constant resource management with their Willpower. In exchange, the Dharma has perhaps some of the most powerful ability options simultaneously available to them, allowing Dharmas to easily change the tide of a battle with a single decisive blow. Players considering the Dharma class should think carefully about what sacrifices they are willing to make in order to reach enlightenment. # Mind Aspect The Mind Aspect represents one's mental resiliency and sharpness.
