Wands typically deal with Agility and Scrutiny. # Cards ## Ace of Wands The Ace of Wands depicts a Wand planted at the peak of a mountaintop. A valley with a river flowing through it can be seen below, and sunbeams illuminate the whole scene. On one of the valley’s hills lining the left is a castle, on the right side of the card, on the hills lining the valley, there is a dense forest. This card represents inspiration, creativity, invention, and initiative. ## Duet of Wands The Duet of Wands shows an elven youth dressed in orange and red standing on a battlement, looking over an embrasure. They hold a globe in their hand, and stare over the green landscape, into the sea in the background. There are two Wands stationed on either side of the embrasure, and the youth grips the one on the left with their hand. That staff has grown a few more leaves on it than the other, along with some red roses and white lilies. This card represents two irreconcilable choices, two with no compromise possible. The card represents planning, decisive action, rejecting the easy and comfortable, and taking risks. ## Trio of Wands The Trio of Wands shows a keuri standing on an overlook, with three Wands planted in the ground. They face the background, which shows a bay, with golden waters from the sunrise, and ships sail across and to the left. The Wands sprout thin vines that stretch across the ground and interlink, as the keuri grips one with a determined hand. This card represents expansion, growth, discovery, momentum, and reaching out. ## Four of Wands The Four of Wands stand, two on either side of a pass to a castle. They grow a canopy of grapevines among themselves. Underneath their canopy, a lesbian elven couple approach the castle, hand in hand. The two of them wear green wreaths. There is a celebration and gathering awaiting them at the entrance of the castle. This card represents stability, home, mirth, celebration, beauty, felicity, and gratitude. ## Five of Wands The Five of Wands are wielded by five youths of various heritage, all laughing in a mock battle, as they swing at each other. This card represents competition, sport, training, experience, and productive criticism. ## Six of Wands The Six of Wands shows an elf riding a centaur wearing a green robe. The elf holds a Wand like an upright pike and the leaves growing at the tip form a wreath. Behind the elf and the centaur is a large crowd rejoicing. They carry the other five Wands, with vertical flag-like banners tied to them. This card represents victory, triumph, praise, acclaim, pride, and courage. ## Seven of Wands The Seven of Wands depicts a male sagani standing on a ship, batting away six Wands with one of his own. He has a face that expresses his concern about his situation, but also determined to see it through. He wears a boot on one foot and a shoe on the other. His tunic is made of threadbare patchwork. This card represents the underdog, uneven ground, persistence, self-preservation, and self-defense. ## Eight of Wands The Eight of Wands are smaller than normal, and, in addition to their standard leaves, have iron tips and feathered wings; they’ve become arrows. The volley of arrows travel upwards, soaring through the sky. A red bird and a yellow bird fly together in the background. This card represents rapid change, speed, movement, progress, quick decisions, and excitement. ## Nine of Wands The Nine of Wands show an beaten and bleeding avis, struggling to stay on their feet, and leaning one of the wands for support. Still, they look behind themselves determined. The other eight wands stand behind them, forming a palisade; a testament to the battles they’ve fought. This card represents the final push, last stand, grit, resilience, and overcoming the body. ## Dek of Wands The Dek of Wands are carried in an unwieldy bundle by a dverg, who struggles to carry their load to a town far in the distance. The Wands have small groups of grapes growing on each of their tips. This card represents burden, responsibility, stress, obligation, burn out, and hope. ## El of Wands The El of Wands depicts an astral with Wands in a box beside them. They use one of the Wands to sketch into water that reflects the stars above. The Wand gives off a line of light in the water that does not appear in the sky; the Astral is obviously using the Wand to draw constellations. This card represents Imagination, Infusion, Finding Possibilities, Drawing Connections, and Reason. ## Dozen Wands The Dozen Wands depicts a gnome and a fey sitting side by side in a tree, fashioning Wands from the branches. They sit comfortably across from each other, concentrating on their work. This card represents Craft, Instinct, Concentration, Colleagues, Sensitivity, and Impression. ## Sovereign of Wands The Sovereign is dressed in green, and a small wisp rides on their shoulder. They stand on a craggy landscape, and the leaves on their Wand are larger, and seem to flutter in the wind. This card represents adventure, fresh ideas, motivation, energetic, excitement, and fearlessness. ## Monarch of Wands The Monarch of Wands is a duxi sagani; they leap easily from one clifftop to another easily. Their Wand disperses pollen through the air, and is heavily obscured by green leaves. The Monarch of Wands represents defiance, rebellion, and unbound freedom. ## Crown of Wands The Crown of Wands sits on a throne sculpted from the clouds and perched on a mountain top. Their Wand is adorned with sunflowers, and wisps encircle the throne protectively. The Crown of Wands typically has thin blonde or white hair that flutters in the wind. The Crown of Wands represents confidence, passion, determination, charisma, optimism, and a bright outlook. ## Halo of Wands The Halo of Wands depicts a double headed eagle, soaring upward in flight, with a bundle of Wands in their talons. The Wands sprout a variety of flowers, such as sunflowers, green keuri bells, blue irises, and [[Rose|roses]]. Streams of rainbow light are faintly seen from the eagle's wings as speed lines. The Halo of Wands represent leadership, vision, big picture, taking control, boldness, and decisiveness.
