It is usually associated with **Potency** and **Dignity**. # Cards ## Ace of Swords The Ace of Swords is plunged blade first into a stone among the mountains. Encircling it is a silver snake, grown stained with blood. The Sword emits light, signifying power. This card represents victory, excess, domination, and unstoppable momentum. ## Duet of Swords The Duet of Swords depicts crossed swords wielded by an astral and a sagani, both dressed in white, barefoot, and blindfolded. Both seem oddly calm. This card represents stalemate, equally matched choices, denial, secrecy, and intimacy. ## Trio of Swords The Trio of Swords are stabbed into the top of a waterfall. A blue river flows into them, and the water turns red as it passes them by. The sky is overcast and raining. This card represents sorrow, grief, loss, trauma, brokenness, division, rupturing and fracturing. ## Four of Swords The Four of Swords are locked in a tomb, with the effigies of Volundr and vis three most loyal knights wielding them. The knights are Eider, Avery, and Gelsey. All four effigies are at rest against the wall. Gelsey and Avery have the swords at rest beside their effigies, but Aldbine and Eider hold theirs blade down. This card represents sanctuary, protection, recuperation, defense, sleep. It also represents an isolated group from the larger world. It is a card of reprieve. ## Five of Swords The Five of Swords are in possession of a large oni who stares with smug satisfaction back towards his defeated and retreating enemies. Rain threatens to fall from the sky above, and the wind is clearly picking up. This card represents hostility, disagreements, bullying, intimidation, conflict, tension, resentment, seeds of revenge. ## Six of Swords The Six of Swords are used as oars in a dvergen boat that is sailing away from the viewer. The dvergr look down but resolute. Flaming runes are intricately carved into the wooden boat, and are being used to crush and melt the ice sheets that block their path. This card represents forging a path ahead, distance, determination, taking stock and moving forward. ## Seven of Swords The Seven of Swords are being stolen by an inari, with two swords being left behind. The camp being left behind is clearly none the wiser of the theft. This card represents tactics, strategy, schemes, lies, trickery, cunning, and deceit. ## Eight of Swords The Eight of Swords are placed in a circular formation, creating a fence of blades that traps a blindfolded astral bound to a stake in the center. They are imprisoned in a barren land, a dim sky of grey clouds and streaks of flame giving little illumination to the region. This card represents traps, imprisonment, the unknowable, affliction, restrain, loss of control. ## Nine of Swords The Nine of Swords are mounted on a black wall. A bed lies next to them, and an astral sits up in the bed, weeping. This card represents fear, despair, dread, impending doom, and depression. ## Dek of Swords The dek of Swords are implanted in the back of an elf. The elf is partially covered in a red blanket face down, lying in the mud, mixed with their own blood. The sky is entirely black, and a sea of fire flickers in the distant background. This card signifies death, destruction, ruin, the lowest point, and betrayal. ## El of Swords The El of Swords are being sharpened on what appears to be golden grindstones by dvergr. These swords are producing flames as they are sharpened, and clearly very dangerous. This card represents preparation, rising power, strengthening resources, and increasing strength. ## Dozen Swords The Dozen Swords are being wielded by an elven army. They charge on an army of sagani and oni, fearless and resolute. The leading elf is already slaying the first opponent. This card represents the time to strike, a call to action, and victory to the first to arms. ## Sovereign of Swords The Sovereign of Swords stands resolute in a green field. Dressed in red and yellow, the wind blows through their hair, as they wield their sword readily. This card represents vigilance, readiness, wit, intelligence, and direction. ## Monarch of Swords The Monarch of Swords rides a horse into battle. Charging at full speed, they have their Sword raised skyward, prepared to deal a decisive blow. This card represents leadership in battle, bravery, war, assertion, direct action, and focused. ## Crown of Swords The Crown of Swords depicts Crowned Volundr Aldbine receiving vis holy sword filled with pure green light from a hand that emerges from a waterfall. The scene of the [[Prasinus Cascade]] takes place, where Aldbine receives the [[Claidheam Solais]] from Danu, the goddess of the Springs. This card represents honesty, love, purity, worthiness, virginity, and anointed authority. ## Halo of Swords The Halo of Swords are wielded like rays of the sun, floating behind an elven woman wearing a cloak that gives off mist. A gull sits on her shoulder, and her arm is raised, poised to thrust forward and command the targets of the blades. This is [[Fand]], a mythological figure associated with power, birds, health, and mist. This card represents judgement, raw power, just deliverance, strong health, and full command.
