# Introduction Chromatic Bonds Theory is the second **Hermetic Theory**. Chromatic Bonds Theory proposes that all of existence is the creation of magical bonds known as **Chromatic Bonds**, between fundamental elements derived from the six Kernetic Measures as described in the [[Relative Measures Theory]]. The six kernels create **isotopes** that combine into **gestalts** that form all known phenomena. The massive enormity of gestalt arrays is staggering, and are still studied and further documented to this day. # Terminology The six Kernels are Aer, Gatia, Pyron, Hydron, Elektron, and Cryos. When a single Kernel type is connected by a Chromatic Bond, it takes a form known as an **isotope**. Isotopes can be combined to create complex structures known as **Gestalts**. # Chromatic Bonds The Chromatic Bonds are structural bonds of magic that are designated by their colors when their influence is made visible. Chromatic bonds are sometimes colloquially referred to as "mana", although true mana is colorless. All bonds are filtered out of "pure" mana, which can absorb and dissolve the bonds when influenced properly. Pure Mana is sometimes known as "White" Mana, and associated with Elysia. The other color mana is also strongly associated with other Fundamental Measures, but their exact relationship with the measures themselves is unknown. ## Blue Mana (Logos) Blue Mana is highly stable and creates ordered shapes. It takes a lot of energy to create, but well-designed structures take very little energy to move. ## Teal Mana (Chronos) Teal Mana is self-reactive and circuitous. This allows it to cycle easily through commands and decision trees, but it decays quickly and must be reinforced on a frequent basis. ## Green Mana (Flux) Green Mana is unpredictable and often has a jerky behavior. It is not well understood, but is relied on heavily in luck and fate. ## Yellow Mana (Lumen) Yellow Mana is thin and stringy, but also tough and taut. It forms intricate patterns, forming patterns like spiderwebs or snowflakes. ## Orange Mana (Magnus) Orange Mana is powdery and adhesive. After bonding its factors together strongly, it tends to coat the environment with the substance. ## Red Mana (Chaos) Red Mana is boiling and tumultuous. It has a large capacity for storing energy (voltage) and disperses it easily and roughly. ## Purple Mana (Miasma) Purple Mana is gaseous. It disperses easily.
