For every level of aptitude one takes in Chakra Awakening, another chakra is opened and available to use. In order to access the power of the Chakras, one must maintain a clear Chakra pool. If they fail to meet the criteria of a Chakra, that Chakra will become congested and unavailable until the block is removed. Blocks are removed through rituals specific to each chakra. # The Root The Root Chakra is located at the base of one's spine. This pool of energy is the primal instinct necessary for survival and safety. The Root Chakra is one's physical anchor, acknowledging your physical existence. This chakra handles joy, pleasure, and hedonism. It works as our ability to appreciate our sense of being and place, allowing us to practice mindfulness. By being tied to pleasure and appreciation, The Sanctum Chakra is blocked by guilt. This Chakra is responsible for self-control and determination. It fuels our ability to transform and shape ourselves according to our own desires.
