# Introduction
Saltlands are rare, and usually not made by nature. The land here is barren, but unlike other deserts, it has nothing to do with rainfall. Instead, saltlands have topsoil that has been saturated with salt. There are several saltlands that have occurred naturally in nature, but more often than not, they are simply remnant scars from a long past war, when one nation attempts to deny farmland to another.
# Environment Fluctuation
While Saltlands will typically experience normal seasonal patterns, the flora and fauna that exist here are so limited that the seasons hardly affect the few that dare etch out a living here.
