# Introduction Rockland, sometimes referred to as wasteland, is a biome where the terrain is primarily made of rock, with little to no vegetation or topsoil. Rockland is usually found near the tops of warmer mountains, in volcanic regions, or near desert biomes. # Environment Fluctuation Unlike most desert biomes, rockland typically has little to no seasonal differences, with the temperature fluctuation too small to notably change the small amount of flora and fauna nearby. At most, birds have a hatching season and certain animals may hibernate. Otherwise, days on opposite sides of the year are fairly indifferentiable to each other. ## Flora ## Fauna
