# Introduction The Rainforest is a hot and humid biome, filled with lush vegetation and plentiful animal life. Unlike [[Jungle (Gaiatics)|jungles]], the rainforest has a much thinner undergrowth environment, partially because of more tightknit tree canopy, and partially because the undergrowth is often washed away into the [[Tropics]] during the Humid Season. Most of the wildlife in rainforests are found in the tree canopy. # Environment Fluctuation Rainforests are an insular environment, and are found in regions unaffected by the seasons. Instead, the biomes experience a humid season, during the seasons of Ogair and Sal, and an arid season, during Doth and Bas. ## Ogair and Sal, Humid Season The rainforest is drenched constantly in rain overhead.
