# Description Avis are natural fliers. Just as humans swim, Avis fly. And just as some humans cannot swim, some Avis cannot or will not fly. Nevertheless, most Avis take on this ability at some point in their lives. They cannot wear medium armor while flying. They must also make Steadfast Saving Throws for flying in difficult weather, or Form checks for prolonged periods of time. Difficult flying maneuvers require a Coordination check. If an Avis makes any sort of attack or action that uses their arms for something other than flying, they will fall at a rate of 10 meters a second. Some skilled Avis plan for this, flying high to fire a bow, and take into account their falling speed, so that they can catch the air beneath them again. Any movement used to dive-bomb directly vertically underneath them is doubled.
