# Narrative ## Epithets - The Navigator - Martial Bourgeoisie of [[Archduchy of Duinn|Duinn]] - Elf ## Description - She/Her - White hair - Pale blue eyes - Ashy skin - Dark Duinn nobility clothes, with a hooded cloak ## Bonds - [[Jack Knifeman]] - situationship - [[Ciaran Duinn]] - betrothed, ex - Member of [[The Trifecta Tidings Troupe]] ## Details Vevila is from house Gaothlach, a splinter branch of the noble house Duinn. From an early age, she was outraged by the unfair treatment of her people, and adamant that the Duinn people should no longer settle for second class citizens in an empire that has forsaken them. However, she was just as outraged when learning she was betrothed to the house Duinn heir, Ciaran, her old childhood friend. After doing what she could to stem her friend's heartbreak as she thoroughly rejected him, she promised him that she'd be back one day with an alliance to guarantee Duinn's independence from [[The Aldbine Imperial Republic]]. Soon after she left, she came across the assassin disaster, **Jack Knifeman**. Jack had been on a training run with a group of bandits to rob travelers in the woods. Jack's initial arrow aimed at Vevila went fairly wide and gave her enough of a warning to fend off the assassination attempts by the other three bandits. She outmaneuvered them and beat them badly. Jack attempted to help his fellow bandits, but shot one of them in the thigh by mistake. The bandits fled, but one of them kneed Jack in the stomach and left him behind as a distraction. Vevila went to question poor Jack, but he was so pathetic and his eyes were so big and sad and she ended up letting him follow her and bought him a meal. He asked her for training in dagger mastery and pledged himself to her, and every time she went to say no and to fuck off, his eyes always ended up making him impossible to reject him. Despite herself, Vevila eventually took a liking to Jack, and then eventually they slept together and Jack ended up being a freak in bed, and so Vevila and Jack ended up dating? She's never actually defined her relationship to Jack, but Jack has been insisting they've been dating for a year and that she valiantly saved him from a life of crime, and she's unable to refute him. Vevila's goals have ended up being the driving force of **The Trifecta Tidings Troupe**, and they've spent the last year looking for news up and down the Trifecta Mountain Range looking for diplomatic leads. The Troupe has finally came across a promising one with the party [[Expedition 69]], who have agreed to introduce them to the Margrave of [[Shiratani]]. Vevila hopes to develop formal relations between Kaina and Duinn to help the latter establish independence.
