She's still new to the continent, relatively. Kiniro speaks Sami, the common tongue in Kaina; but she can speak broken Sylval as well. Kiniro is an expert in creatures, specifically in identification, tracking, and behaviors. She moved to the Eastern Marches to study dragons. Kintsuna was immediately drawn to her, and she actually was disdainful. Upon realizing how wealthy he was, and that he didn't seem to mind the fact that she mostly hated him, she made a calculated decision to marry him and to blatantly use him and his connections for herself. Over the last year of marriage, she tolerates him rather well, and treats him more as a pet she can't stand, but also couldn't possibly get rid of.
