# Introduction
The Kaina Mark is the most prolific coinage in Copernica, Jitun, and the **Eastern Marches** of Elphyne.
The Kaina Mark uses Marks, Bonds, and Bullions. Bullions have become the staple of international exchange between currencies.
# Exchange Table
- 1 Sterling Bullion = 400 Bonds
- 1 Bond = 1,800 Marks
# History
Bronze Marks were created by Kaina to replace the Farthing (as valuable as a shilling is today.) Bonds were originally promissory notes between banks on enchanted paper, which eventually standardized to an 1,800 note. This was used for a time, before eventually, the paper bond was taken out of circulation in favor of a silver coin. This was because the enchantments were being interfered with on the counterfeit market, and solid silver, unenchantable, was a more reliable form of currency. Eventually, sterling silver bars became the standard between banks, and the bullion would be adopted as the new standard between banks as they grew.
