# Introduction
Konis is a family of gestalts in the Atheneum. Konis gestalts tend to be transformative elements, changing other materials with their influence. Most konis are considered Factor gestalts.
# Primary Gestalt
## Konis
Primary Recipe: [[Aer]]+[[Geon]]
Designation: Factor, Powder
Konis is the basis for granular elements, but has no notable properties in and of itself. Under the right conditions, other elements can formulate around its particles for a brief period of time.
# Secondary Gestalts
## Ash
Grey Powder
Primary recipe: [[Pyron]]+Konis
Designations: Pigment, Factor, Powder
Ash is strongly associated with fire-based products such as [[Aer|Smoke]]. It is nutrient-rich, making it a crucial element in the process of developing the [[Sol (Atheneum)|Sol]] and [[Phyton|Phyton]] molecular families.
## Umber
Brown Powder
Primary Recipe: [[Geon]]+Konis
Designations: Powder, Factor, Pigment
Umber is a brown pigment powder formed from [[Geon]]. It is similar in appearance to common dirt.
## Ochre
Yellow Powder
Primary Recipe: Konis+[[Geon|Clay]]
Designations: Factor, Powder, Pigment
Ochre is a yellowish orange pigment derived from clay powder.
## Salt
Primary Recipe: [[Hydron]]+Konis
Designations: Factor, Powder, Stone
Salt is a mineral with preservation properties. It neutralizes [[Cryos]].
## Sand
Grit
Primary Recipe: Konis+[[Petra]]
Designations: Factor, Powder
Sand is a coarse, earthen powder, often associated with [[Petra|Sediment]].
## Static
Electric Powder
Primary Recipe: [[Elektron]]+Konis
Designations: Product, Powder
Static is a black and purple powder. Static constantly generates a weak magnetic field that applies a static shock effect which can be temporarily applied to objects through contact.
## Snow
Ice Powder
Primary Recipe: [[Cryos]]+Konis
Designations: Powder, Product
Snow has a short lifespan and decays into water droplets if not preserved.
## Ember
Fire Powder
Primary Recipe: [[Pyron]]+[[Nephon]]
Designations: Powder, Product
Ember is a fire powder. It has a short lifespan and decays into Ash if not preserved.
