# Introduction Kobolds are generally miners, merchants, and tinkerers. When outsiders call them to mind, they usually connote them with sabotage, raids, and thievery. This is mostly due to the cultural success of [[Gnomes|gnommish]] propaganda, however, it must be acknowledged that kobolds have certain advantages that lend themselves well to unique opportunities of mischief and mayhem. ## Physiology The Kobolds are a diminutive people, standing on average about a meter high. They are distinguishable by their particularly sharply pointed ears without earlobes, and their extremely bushy eyebrows. They are also known for their long tails, which have only a tuft of hair at the end. These tails reach the ground, usually measuring around 40-50 centimeters in length. ## General Culture Kobolds prize freedom, but also raising up the oppressed. Kobolds collectively feel despised and hated by others in society, which, while not unfounded, is somewhat historically built in a collective persecution/martyr complex that has developed with their almost co-aligned relationship with gnomes. Because of these feelings, kobolds are justice advocates. Strong social safety nets are found in their cities, and they are often willing to help with vigilante and revolutionary movements. Because Kobolds resist poison, alcohol is less prevalent in their society, and they are much more avid smokers. # Statline Entity Types: [[Entities|Nex]], [[Entities|Minish]], [[Entities|Folk]] [[Size and Weight]]: Small, Lightweight [[Move|Speed]]: 10 meters [[Vulnerabilities and Resistances|Resistance]]: [[Entities|Construct]], [[Entities|Vermin]], [[Miasma]] [[Vulnerabilities and Resistances|Vulnerabilities]]: [[Elysia]], [[Water]] [[Vulnerabilities and Resistances|Immunities]]: [[Blight]], [[Afflictions|Poison]] +1 [[Dexterity|Craft]], +1 [[Dexterity|Deftness]], +2 [[Constitution|Vigor]] [[Dusksight]] - 10 meters [[Claustrophiliac]] [[Corrupting Touch]] [[Actions|Moment of Glory]] - [[Bad Luck]] ## Optional Facets Kobolds have a strong natural affinity for miasma, and the effects from that can happen subconsciously, with little direct intention needed.
