# Material
This item is material that is measured by volume without delineation. These items must be kept in containers. The classification has many subclasses, with categories such as: **Liquid**, **Metal**, **Powder**, and **Wood**. There are more than what is listed here.
## Substance
Substances are specialized materials, such as potions, that typically only have one specific use, and are not primary crafting ingredients. They are listed separately in the index, to avoid clutter.
## Harvest
Harvest Materials are materials that can be harvested in the wild. They are sometimes used in crafting, but sometimes used just by themselves.
