# Description Witnesses are highly aware of their surroundings at all times. Through the smallest of hints, they can predict the movements of guards and patrols with precision, giving them plenty of time to adapt. They also can sense the presence of beings around corners, doors, thin walls, and even in the dark by a detection range of (2 + your Wisdom) meters, and they can tell whether the being is friendly, neutral, or antagonistic to their cause, and whether the being is a combatant or noncombatant. They are immune to the Surprise condition, and creatures you can’t see within your detection range do not get advantage on attack rolls against you.
