# Description (Stance) If an enemy attempts to strike you with a melee attack that does not have the same range as your equipped polearm while you are in this stance, you may take an opportunity attack against them, expending AP as normal. If you successfully hit them, deal damage as normal. The enemy's movement is then halted, and cannot approach you again without incurring another opportunity attack. Additional opportunity attacks against the same enemy for this exact same circumstance are free, and do not require additional AP. This stance ends if you move in a direction that is not directly in front of you or behind you. You cannot change the direction you are facing in this stance.
