# Introduction
Taurns are folk with the legs of an ungulate. They are considered a prideful people by most. Taurns are often considered highly competitive and athletic and it is a common preconception that a Taurn would prefer to settle disputes with competition rather than diplomacy.
Most Taurns live in the countryside, with relatively few adapting to city life. "The Bridled" is a derogative term used to describe city Taurn, especially by their country counterparts.
# Description
The Taurns have humanoid torsos, but the legs of an ungulate. Taurns rarely wear trousers, finding them more trouble than they are worth.
Their heads vary, sometimes animalistic, sometimes human, and sometimes somewhere in-between.
