# Description
Even the best laid plans go astray, but what matters most is your adaptability. In this moment, describe to the GM how the world suddenly changes in the next six seconds that put things to your advantage. Perhaps an earthquake throws the enemy to the ground. Perhaps a freak lightening bolt sets off a wall of fire between you and the enemy. Whatever the situation, your limitations are that no one dies and that you do not control the actions of any character but your own. Your DM may adjust your suggestion, but honors your dumb, ridiculous request in your favor. You may not use the same Deus Ex Machina twice in a campaign. They can’t all be freak lightening bolts that cause fires; get creative.
