# Description You have spent your time considering different scenarios and making appropriate decisions to leave yourself options. You may spend a Preparation point to recount how you have interacted with objects to prepare for this current moment. Maybe you remembered to make a copy of a key at one point, or pocketed a useful item you saw in the room before. You may have left a window open or you jerry rigged the enemy’s trap to go off at a different time beforehand. Again, the explanation offered by the player must fit within the realm of plausibility, but the DM is encouraged to give strong leniency in this regard.
