# Description When attempting any [[Actions|Action]] or reaction, first roll a [[Wisdom|Fortitude]] [[Save]] (DC12 if not specified). If successful, action is attempted as normal. If roll fails by 5 or less, the [[Actions|Action Points]] are lost and the character is unable to figure out how to attempt the intended action. If the roll fails by 6 or more, the character attempts the intended action with unintended consequences, usually with dire effects, determined by the [[Main Glossary|Narrator]]. For example, an attempt to heal a teammate may result in the character instead healing their enemy. An attempt to move away from the enemy may result in heading directly towards them.
