# Description Most shields are simply classified according to shape. The buckler is the primary exception to that rule. While its circular shape would normally have it classified as a [[Targe]], the small nature of the buckler allows it to be strapped to the wrist or forearm like a bracer, or else be used as an active shielding option by being gripped in the hand and held outwards. Attacking with a buckler when strapped to the forearm is always a shield bash. # Statline (Forearm) - Range: +0m - Accuracy: +0 - Block Rate: +2 - Damage Value: +1d6 - Damage Attribute Modifiers - +Blunt # Statline (Wrist) - Block Rate: +1 # Statline (Active) - Range: +1m - Accuracy: +0 - Block Rate: +3 - Damage Value: +1d6 - Damage Attribute Modifiers - +Blunt # Classification - #Article - #Equipment - #Weapon - #Shield - #Buckler
