# Description The largest city of the [[Trifecta Mountain Range]]. A member of [[The Khora]], Cogsclatter is a [[Gnomes|Gnome]] stronghold, and is a great uniting factor between The Khora and the [[Bolornead]]. The city is built under an overhang of the nearby mountain, which is reinforced heavily by both Gnome engineering and magic, allowing it to be a reliable shield from both weather and potential aerial assault. Districts are mostly divided between the deeper caverns built into the mountain, and simply existing underneath the under hang. The city proper was founded in 3528 SE, as a place of great study for the crafts. A Gnome city through and through, adaptations for larger races are almost entirely an afterthought. Indeed most of the adaptations were first made with Avis in mind, before being further adapted for all travelers. The city is fairly wealthy, and considered the most powerful city in [[Elphyne]] that exists outside of [[Kaina]]'s borders. Cogsclatter is a city built on trade and manufacturing, with few raw exports contributing to its economy.
