You have a tendency to talk and talk and talk and talk. Start a timer and begin speaking in character and monologue to an NPC. Talk for as long as you can about something pertinent to the circumstances. When your monologue begins to lose interest and you’ve worn out either the [[Main Glossary|Narrator's]] or the NPC’s attention, stop the timer. In social situations, every thirty seconds stalls the NPC you’ve talked to for ten minutes. In combat situations, every thirty seconds you’ve talked stalls the NPC for one round. These numbers are welcome to be adjusted from game to game to accommodate different patience levels and rather enthralling speakers who have parties that don’t want them to stop talking.
