# Introduction
The Aldbine Economy is prevalent in [[Elphyne]], and the coins are used throughout the world, despite most coins being phased out by Kaina equivalents. Additionally, the international economy has taken to using bullions for currency exchanges. These bullions, naturally, originated in the Aldbine Economy.
The Aldbine Economy uses hexacles, pentacles, tetracles, shillings, farthings, and bullions.
# Hexacles
Hexacles are made of [[Platinum]] and depict the Crest of the House of Aldbine on one side, and the symbol of the [[The Verdant Church]] on the other. The Professions, such as doctors, lawyers, and clockmakers make roughly a hexacle a day on average.
# Pentacles
Pentacles are [[Gold|golden]] and depict the Star of Order on one side, and the Arms of Chaos on the other. They are typically flipped for bets in gambling, since they have distinct sides. Soldiers and City Guards are usually kept on a salary of a Pentacle per day during times of peace. Guild workers also make about a pentacle.
10 pentacles equal a hexacle.
# Tetracles
Tetracles are [[Electrum]] and depict an hourglass-like symbol on either side. Mercenaries, huntsfolk, and adventurers typically charge a tetracle per day for their services. 10 tetracles equal a pentacle.
# Shillings
Shillings are [[Silver]] coins and depict an "x" symbol on either side. General laborers make a shilling for a day's labor. 10 shillings equal a tetracle. A stay at an inn usually costs about 5 shillings.
# Farthings
Farthings are [[Copper]] coins and depict a single continuous line imprinted on them. Servants make a farthing for a day's labor. 10 farthings equal a shilling.
# Bullions
It takes 400 hexacles to equal a platinum bullion and 400 pentacles to equal a gold bullion.
